Woman struck and killed by NJ Transit train in Middlesex County is ID’d

Authorities have identified a pedestrian struck and killed by an NJ Transit train in South Brunswick last week as a 43-year-old woman from North Carolina.
Emily Price was hit at 9:35 p.m. on Nov. 11 by a Northeast Corridor train traveling between the Jersey Avenue station in New Brunswick and the Princeton Junction stop in West Windsor.
Price lived in Durham, North Carolina, according to an Amtrak spokesman. Amtrak, which owns and operates the tracks along the Northeast Corridor, led the investigation.
The Trenton-bound train had 110 passengers and crew members aboard. It departed New York Penn Station at 8:37 p.m.
