Zia Pueblo Pottery Bowl Pre-1900 Beautiful Geometrics

Zia Pueblo pottery bowl prior to 1900 with beautiful geometrics. This is a stunning example of the ability of the Zia potters. The shape of the pot is very symmetrical as well as the painted designs.
The inner rim of the pot is thin and symmetrical. The inside of the bowl is relatively smooth on the rim but the inside gets rougher to the touch as it nears the base. The shoulder flares out subtly. The pot is in wonderful condition considering the age and the most minor specks of paint loss on the design. I tried to photo these. The inner rim is 5 1/2” in diameter. The bowl is 8 1/2” tall and is approximately 9 1/2” wide at the shoulder. The base measures 3 inches in diameter. It weighs 4 1/2 pounds. The starting price is ,250.00.
