Beatles
photograph on offer, and
others
we are also now offering for sale on
eBay have been stored away since the
late 1970's after our acquiring the
DATEBOOK MAGAZINE archives from
KENNETH GALENTE of the SILVER SCREEN
in NYC in 1978. This image and others we
are offering
for sale were acquired
along
with the
infamous original color and black
and white
negatives
of the Beatles last concert
tour
depicting the band at their hideaway at 7655
CURSON TERRACE in North Hollywood and
at their concert performance at DODGERS STADIUM
in LA on August 28, 1966 and back stage and
onstage at CANDLESTICK PARK in San Francisco
on August 29, 1966 - the Beatles last live paid
performance ever anywhere. The 1966 negatives
/ photos were taken by the staff of DATEBOOK
MAGAZINE under the editorship of ARTHUR
UNGER
- who was behind the infamous
statement
by JOHN LENNON breaking in America in 1966
just
before t
he tour began where Lennon stated
that the "Beatles were more famous than Jesus"
- that was published in DATEBOOK MAGAZINE
the month before!
