New FDM 1993-1996 Lexus SC300 SC400 Center Vent Bezel 52mm Triple Gauge Holder

What is it:
A triple 52mm gauge bezel with ventilation cutouts; this bezel deletes the center air vents and connecting ductwork and allows the installation of three gauges. The ventilation cutouts on the gauge holder allow some airflow from the HVAC system. The bezel has a slightly textured finish (as pictured), which better mimics the factory unit and reduces the layer line appearance typical with printed components. Those desiring a perfect factory matched finish may lightly sand and paint the new bezel before installing. This version will work on the 93-96 model years.
Design Information:
The gauge mounting locations are approximately 52.6mm x 27mm (27mm is the depth of the cylinders holding the gauges, not the maximum gauge depth)
Gauge locations are angled 10 degrees towards the driver
Printed using PolyLite ASA, which offers better UV performance as compared to ABS
Important Notes:
This modification may significantly reduce heating and cooling performance from the center vent location for those intending to use HVAC. There also may be other negative impacts on the gauges or HVAC system. To allow room for the gauges, the section of ductwork that houses the air registers are deleted, and the air is allowed to blow on the backside of the triple gauge bezel, which may result in air leakage elsewhere around the bezel.
Installation requires the removal of the passenger side airbag. Airbag removal should only be done by an individual trained in the safe handling of vehicle airbags.
Due to the hand-made nature and age of the wood trim in these vehicles, it is possible that minor filing or adjustment may be required to achieve good fitment.
