    Extremely Rare Antique Native American Black Ware Pottery Jar Bowl ~ Signed Handmade Original by Maria Martinez circa 1920-1925.
    Maria Martinez of San Ildefonso Pueblo is probably the most famous of all pueblo potters.  She and her husband Julian discovered in 1918 how to produce the now-famous black-on-black pottery, spending their lives perfecting and producing pieces for museums and collectors worldwide.
