Wonderful lot of 72  antique post cards relating to Hartford, Connecticut. 60 of the post cards related to the Great Flood of 1936 (about 30 different views, most cards with at least one duplicate), with numerous images of flooded buildings, submerged locations, people traveling by boat through city streets, etc. Additional 12 earlier cards included showing Hartford landmarks, architectural views, street scenes, plus a c.1920's souvenir folder of post cards.
Nice looking lot, pleasing age patina, one or two cards with small edge nicks, any minor age flaws easy to overlook or forgive.
Postcards measure c. 4 1/4" H x 6" W and smaller.
