Conway Deluxe Handwired 5E3 Clone 15W 1x12" Combo Tweed

This tube combo was handwired by our in-house tech Dan Conway. This is an excellent gig-practical clone of the 5E3 deluxe. This amp has a top quality pine cabinet made by Mather cabs, and high grade circuit components from Mojotone. The speaker is a Weber 12a125 which is said to be the ultimate modern upgrade for the 5E3 circuit. The amp was lightly used by the maker and always well taken care of. It was recently re tubed with a fresh set of Tung-Sol 6V6 power tubes for reliability. This particular 5E3 truly has some magic in it due to the combination of components, the excellent sounding classic tone transformers, the cabinet and the Weber speaker. It is cleanly wired and assembled with much attention to detail.
This amp was put up against an example of an original 5E3 from 1957 and this clone seriously held its own with just as much mojo, in a more practical package made of modern components! It shows a couple very light cosmetic signs of use from in-store customer testing, but it has never been taken home and is in excellent condition.
