Seven Hills Motorcars is tremendously proud to offer this absolutely stunning and original very low mileage and numbers matching 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. This Cadillac is in amazing original condition with only 31,310 original miles. The car looks beautiful, runs great, and drives awesome. This survivor Cadillac convertible is a time capsule and an investment grade classic. The car has great lines and is totally solid; one can even see how good the car is underneath in the many photos of the car on a lift. This is an excellent opportunity to own an exceptional Eldorado convertible that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value.
I have personally put about 100 miles on this Cadillac. During that time the car was completely reliable and pleasure to drive with no issues.
1976 was the final year of this body style Eldorado convertible and the most desirable model year. This 1976 Eldorado is one of the cleanest and best examples on the market right now. The previous owner is a very close friend of the dealership. He is a hardcore car enthusiast with many other Corvettes, Ferraris, and other classics in his collection. He took impeccable care of the car and used it sparingly until we received it this month.
This Cadillac is finished in the beautiful, highly desirable, and iconic color combination of Cotillion White (11) over White Leather and Dark Firethorn (072) with a White soft-top. This is the factory original color scheme as verified by the codes on the trim tag, which is pictured in this ad. The very low original mileage is verified not only by the condition of the car, but also the clear Ohio title, pictured in this ad, that states the mileage as "Actual." Please peruse all of the photos, numbers, video, and information in this ad to get a true sense of clean, nice, and original this Cadillac convertible really is.
Besides the correct trim codes this Eldorado is "Numbers Matching" meaning the engine in the car is the original unit that was installed new at the factory. The last six digits of the VIN, 200767, are stamped on the engine block, which is pictured in this ad, and the engine is original to the car. The transmission is also original with last six digits of the VIN stamped on the main case and pictured.
Throughout the entire Cadillac market right now, this is one of the nicest, most desirable, and most original front wheel drive Eldorado convertibles available. There is no way this car could be duplicated or restored with this level of quality for anything near our asking price. This Eldorado looks great, runs awesome, and is particularly fun with the top down. This is an excellent opportunity to own a classic Cadillac that is ready to be used and enjoyed at an unbeatable value. One could easily buy this car now and sell it for more than the purchase price in years to come as these classic Cadillac are appreciating fast and the market on them is red hot right now, especially for the convertible models. It would be almost impossible to find another 1976 Cadillac convertible with in this amazing color combination, let alone one with such low original mileage, in such excellent condition.
This Eldorado comes with the original owner's manual, 1976 Cadillac Consumer information booklet, and the original warranty booklet showing the original owners name.
As a side note, this Cadillac is not a dealer auction vehicle. We hand pick each car after careful inspection. Our classics come from owners who expect their cars to go to someone that will give the vehicle the same care and attention as they did. We invite and encourage you to examine the car in person or have the car inspected. Please take the time to scrutinize each picture. We photograph each vehicle to the greatest extent so you can feel confident about your purchase. If you have a question about the Eldorado, just give us a call.
    Exterior
The Cotillion White (11) exterior is in excellent condition. As one can see in the photos, the finish has dazzling gloss, smooth finish, and deep shine. Both doors open and shut. The chrome and other bright work is in great condition with a brilliant finish and no pitting. The convertible top looks very nice with no holes or frayed edges and still has the correct glass rear window, which is date coded and original. Also, the power top operates smooth, the complete operation of raising and lowering the top can be viewed in the video. The original hubcaps are in great condition with a nice finish. The wide whitewall tires have 95% tread left and are correctly sized 235/75R15. There are a few tiny blemishes around car that were too faint to show up in pictures, but nothing that is really noticeable from about five feet away. As one can see in the many photos of the underside of the car it is totally solid underneath. The floor pans are solid and all of the body panels and sheet metal are original. We have included specific photos of the lower quarter panels, rockers, frame, spring perches, and other areas most prone to rust on this generation Cadillac to show how clean this car is.
    Window Date Codes
Windshield VI The "V" indicates December and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in December of 1975.
Driver's Front Window CI The "C" indicates October and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in October of 1975.
Driver's Rear Window CI The "C" indicates November and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in November of 1975.
Passenger Front Window VI The "V" indicates December and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in December of 1975.
Passenger Rear Window CI The "C" indicates November and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in November of 1975.
Rear Convertible Top Window VI The "V" indicates December and the "I" indicates 1975 so this window is original, made in December of 1975.
Please note that ALL of the glass on this Eldorado, the windshield, both door windows, both rear windows, and even the glass in the convertible soft-top, are all date coded and original as each piece predates the car's body build date of the second week of January, 1976 (01B). Original glass is another great verification that this car has had no accident history and never sustained damage.
    Interior
The White Leather and Dark Firethorn (072) interior of the Eldorado is in outstanding condition. The seats are in excellent shape with no excessive wear, holes, or split seams. The seats are not worn in the typical area where the driver gets in and out. Please note that these appear to be the original seats and skins, not some cheap aftermarket covers or replacements. The gauge faces are crisp and clean and the lenses are clear. The chrome and bright work on the inside of the car looks wonderful. The carpet is in also in great condition with no stains, rips, or holes. The original radio works and most importantly the dash has never been cut or modified for an aftermarket installation. The power antenna works. The dash and console are in great shape with no fading or sun damage. The door panels are in good shape overall. The driver's door panel is not cracked in typical spot where the driver's elbow sits. This car has never been smoked in; there are no burns marks and no aroma of cigarettes at all. This is one of the best original interiors we have ever seen in person in a classic Cadillac and is a true study of how these cars looked from the factory
Cadillac interiors from this era are not known to wear well, especially for a convertible model, and the excellent condition of this original interior is a huge testament to the meticulous care and attention this car has received throughout its life and another great verification of the very low original mileage. The interior looks just as good in person as it does in the photos.
The trunk also looks fantastic; the carpet and very fragile original cardboard are in amazing condition. It is also totally complete with the Cadillac trunk mat, full size spare tire, jack, jack base, and lug wench/jack handle.
    Mechanical
This Cadillac Eldorado is in excellent mechanical condition and it is ready to be enjoyed. As stated above I have recently put over 100 miles on this car with absolutely no issues. The car starts right away every time, runs well, and idles smooth. The car is an exceptional driver that feels great on the road and floats down the highway. In the video below one can observe the car accelerating on the highway up to about 70mph, shifting through all the gears, braking to stoplight, and going through some curves. Please note that there are no strange noises or vibrations and the car performs quite well overall. The brakes are responsive and do not pull to one side or the other. The transmission shifts well throughout the power band. There is no blue smoke when starting or driving the car. It runs cool and does not overheat. Also, the engine compartment is clean, detailed, and correct as one can see in the photos.
The horn works as do all the exterior lights, interior lights, wipers, power windows, power locks, radio, and original 8-track player. Even very detailed items that many buyers would not even know to check work such as the front seat release when the door is opened, the remote trunk release, and the trunk light. The small pod right above the center of the rear seat has two tiny red lights that are visible when looking through the rear view mirror and serve as indicator that the rear brake lights and rear turn signals are working properly. It is very rare to see this pod still in place and working properly as it is in a very vulnerable spot and most have been broken after this many years. All six of the indicators on top of both front fenders work. All of the gauges work. The power seat works in some directions. The blower for the heater and a/c works. The air conditioning itself works and blows cold. One can observe the a/c compressor clicking on and engaging properly in the video. The air conditioning system was recently serviced. Not enough can be said as to how much of a pleasure it is to drive this car, especially with top down on a beautiful day.
    Overall Condition
Overall, this 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible is in amazing condition and truly an investment grade classic. This car is particularly rare and extra desirable with the extraordinary original condition, low mileage, numbers matching driveline, and the beautiful and stunning color combination. Low mileage and original examples of classic Cadillacs are hard to find and draw a huge premium in the current market. Numbers matching and originality is extremely important in classic car pricing and as one can see this car is very original and correct.
This Cadillac always gets a ton of attention driving down the road. It is very apparent that the vehicle has been well taken care of by its previous owner. The prices of Cadillac convertibles have increased drastically over the past years, especially for premium examples like this car. They are secure and wise investments for a collector. One could easily enjoy this vehicle for several years and sell it for more than the purchase price with minimal effort.
Other sellers are not taking the time to show the car is in such great detail to give you all of the numbers, trim codes, options, photos, and video showing the car driving and all of the functions operating. As stated above, numbers matching is extremely important in classic car pricing and will become even more important as time passes and this car becomes older and even more rare, other sellers are not taking the time to check engine numbers on a Cadillac or don't even know how to. This information is very valuable and important for pricing. Any perspective buyer, for any of our vehicles or from other sellers, should ask for all the numbers, codes, and all information before he or she makes a purchase.
Thank you for looking and please do not hesitate to email or call with any questions.
